Dan Christopher has practiced law in Colorado for over 40 years, with a career spanning both the criminal and civil worlds and a distinguished turn in defense and consulting on medical malpractice matters.
After serving as a Denver Deputy District Attorney and an Assistant United States Attorney for the Federal District of Colorado, Dan entered private practice. His area of focus has been representing health care providers and entities, involving malpractice defense, regulatory compliance, state board defense, employment law, practice sales, doctor contracts, and risk management/critical incident response.
Dan returned to private practice after serving as general counsel for a national surgical group. He was elected by his colleagues to the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Board of the Faculty of Federal Advocates, and previously, acted as president of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association.
Dan has tried over 150 civil jury trials to verdict, and is active in local and state bar associations and clinic professorships. Mr. Christopher has been recognized for his excellent legal work in Personal Injury – Medical Malpractice Defense by Colorado Super Lawyers.
