The Legal 500 selects TAM to Top 500, Shareholder L. Richard Musat to its list of “Leading Lawyers.”

For its 2010 edition, the publishers of The Legal 500 have selected TAM to its list of top legal service providers in the United States. The publication’s selection recognizes TAM for its Aviation Law Group’s work in the field of products liability mass tort defense. This exclusive list includes only 15 firms in the nation who provide legal services in this field.

In making its selection, the Editorial Board of The Legal 500 says this about TAM:
Treece Alfrey Musat & Bosworth is a well-respected Denver-based litigation firm which advises on product liability and aviation law, acting for a healthy mix of manufacturers, airlines and insurers in litigation, appeals and alternative dispute resolution. Recent highlights include acting for Bombardier in the NTSB inquiry and litigation arising from the crash of Colgan Air Continental Connection 3407, a Bombardier Q400 aircraft, near Buffalo, New York. Proceedings have been centralized as a federal MDL in the Western District of New York. The group is representing Learjet as a co-defendant in litigation in Cook County, Illinois, concerning the Mexico City crash of a Mexican government Learjet 45. It is also acting for Excelaire Aviation Services and its underwriters in arbitration in London concerning the Brazilian crash of Gol Flight 1907, and has joined the Liberty Helicopters trial team in relation to a multi-fatality air collision over the Hudson River in August 2009.
In addition to the firm’s selection, TAM is pleased to announce that shareholder L. Richard Musat was individually selected to the publication’s list of “leading lawyers” in the same industry category, with its Editorial Board’s comment that Mr. Musat is recognized as a “phenomenal litigator and trial lawyer.”

According to the publisher, “[t]he Legal 500 Series provides the most comprehensive worldwide coverage currently available on legal services providers, in over 100 countries. Used by commercial and private clients, corporate counsel, CEOs, FDs and professional advisers – as well as by other referrers of work both nationally and internationally – the series is widely regarded as offering the definitive judgement of law firm capabilities.”
